In the spring, the 2027 ISI Synchronized Skating and Midwest Championships kicks off in “The Lou,” otherwise known as the Gateway to the West — St. Louis, Mo.!

Set for April 2-4 at the City of St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo., a family-friendly suburb of St. Louis, ISI Synchronized Skating and Midwest Championships will feature most of our usual national events for both individual and team skaters. It’s also our premier Synchro event, during which we award the prestigious Boyd Weitecter Trophy to the winner of the Teen Synchronized Skating event. Test and entry deadline is Feb.10.

All-Star Venue

Considered the “crown jewel” of the community, the state-of-the-art St. Peters Rec-Plex boasts three NHL-size ice rinks; Rec-Plex North features one sheet with spectator seating for 600, and Rec-Plex South houses two ice rinks — the 1,200-seat Wilkinson Ice Arena and Rink B, which has bleacher seating.

Praised for its cleanliness, the sprawling 236,000-foot Rec-Plex also includes an indoor track, cardio and weight training fitness areas, cycling studio, several gyms and a world-class natatorium that has hosted the U.S. Olympic Diving Trails and U.S. Olympic Festival Aquatic events.
